It’s here! Newcastle Pride has just taken ownership of their new PRIDE van. The van will be used for transporting our equipment to and from our own Newcastle Pride Festival and other events also to Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Fair day and Parade and any other Pride festivals we attend around Australia. We intend to travel to different locations across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter where people can come “Meet the team” and collect general information about Newcastle Pride and also LGBITQA+ Resources from leading organisations and businesses such as ACON, Headspace. The van provides visibility to the LGBTIQA+ community, not only to the community who know we exist but to the community who do not know we exist it’s a beacon to let the Community know we are here for you so reach out !
