Hello Newcastle Pride Folks!

Did you know the entire team behind the Newcastle Pride Festival are volunteers? We have been working extra hard to make this festival amazing for the local community but we need YOU! 🤩🤩 YES YOU! 🤩🤩 Volunteer roles are a great way to make friends and you will become the smiling faces of the festival 😁😁😁. Roles include everything from helping the public find their way around Fair Day > to helping stalls bump in and bump out at the beginning and end of the day.

Please consider becoming a Volunteer and helping to make this 2019 Newcastle Pride Festival one to remember!

The Volunteer Information Sessions will explain the roles available / provide an overview of what is expected and allow you to sign up to particular roles. This event will ideally require an hour commitment to allow for the Volunteer briefing / induction.

Community events…. are just that…. events staged FOR the community BY the community. So get involved! 😎😎 Bring your friends or just your super awesome self because by the end of the festival you will have made a whole bunch of new friends to hang out with!

Newcastle Pride Volunteer Information Sessions will now run:

Sunday 18th 1:00pm-2:00pm
Sunday 18th 2:00pm-3:00pm

@ 35 Belford Street Broadmeadow.

RSVP if you’re attending so we can get a sense of numbers.

Newcastle Pride respectfully acknowledges that our celebrations are held on the traditional Lands of the Awabakal and Worimi peoples. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
