We are thrilled to be BACK with our annual LGBTIQA+ Arts and Cultural Festival with an amazing month-long program of out ’n’ proud glamorous and inclusive safe events.Our festival and events create social connection for the queer community, friends and allies.

Friday 23rd September we are excited to be launching what is believed to be Newcastle’s FIRST EVER “Pride Golf Tournament” this is our Major standalone sporting event for the year. Sponsorship packages available at:

“Followed by our annual Newcastle Pride festival in October and the raising of the “Progress Flag” at our OFFICIAL FREE FESTIVAL launch on Friday 7th October in Civic Park. Other festival events include Fair day, Twisted Cabaret, Queer Youth Formal, Fair Day after party, AFL Pride Cup, 80’s bike ride, Art, food and much more.

Friday October 7, 2022 | 6pm til 10.00pm | Civic Park: Come one, come all for the Raising of the Progress Flag in Civic Park Newcastle at 6pm dress in your most queer, camp, outrageous, twisted rainbow getup for a group photo to mark this inaugural launch. After the formalities, kick up your heels and take part in all the festivities at OUT at the Carnivale.

Cruze sideshow alley, toss a handbag while being entertained by some of Newcastle’s finest performers.

Queer Youth Formal

Saturday October 8, 2022 | 6pm til 11pm | Newcastle Museum

Newcastle Pride is launching our first “Youth Pride Tribe” formal. A celebration of and for LGBTQIA+ Youth and ally teens at Newcastle Museum. Gather your pals and enjoy a night of LGBTQIA+ performers, live music, dance, queer vibes, food and much more.

Lake Macquarie Lycra bike ride & Pride by Night

Saturday October 15, 2022 | Speers Point Park:

2pm til 4pm: “LETS GET PHYSICAL” Family Friendly FREE 80’s RAINBOW bike ride around the Lake warm ups with locals drag in lycra!

4pm til 9pm: Pride by Night @ Speers Point Park

An afternoon/evening of markets. Street foods that will excite your taste buds, a range of retail stalls and community Information stalls, DJ’s, entertainers, drag and music.

Trans Glamore 

Friday October 21, 2022 | 6pm til 12am | Overtime Cafe & Bar

Newcastle Edition hosted by Victoria Anthony. TRANS GLAMORE is a night to celebrate transgender performers & friends.

Twisted Cabaret

Saturday October 22, 2022: | 6.30pm til 12am | Newcastle City Hall:

6.30pm for pre-show drinks in Joy Cummings Room.

Main hall opens 7pm til 12am: The highly anticipated Cabaret night at the glamorous Newcastle City Hall. Enjoy a scrumptious two course meal (or show only) and a smorgasbord of glamorous gritty leading queer artists from around the country.

Newcastle Pride Fair Day,

Saturday November 5, 2022 | 11am til 10pm | Gregson Park, Hamilton  | Hosted by: Miss Danni Issues

11am til 5pm: We are thrilled to be BACK with our spectacular annual signature all LGBTIQA+ all-inclusive Newcastle Pride fair day at Gregson Park, Hamilton.

Before COVID our 2019 Fair day attracted 10,000 locals and people from afar.

Fair day is sure to entertain the whole family. This FREE family friendly all-day event and is our biggest event of the festival. The day includes: Youth Pride Tribe tent, meet up tent, glamorous drag shows, non-stop performance art, live music, Doggywood Parade, children’s space, food vans, mixed retail stalls, LGBTIQA+ Community stalls and so much more, there is a fun space to suit everyone.

Gregson Park | 5pm til 9pm: Four (4) hours of after dark dance in Gregson Park, guest DJ’s and queer performance

After Party

Argyle House | 8pm til late:  Head to the after Party at Argyle House a big celebrating under one big rainbow glitter ball. Details to be announced stay tuned.
