Newcastle Pride Inc is an inclusive, vibrant, fun  Newcastle based incorporated association, an LGBTQIA+ community-based charity organisation established in March 2018.

Newcastle Pride celebrates sexuality and gender diversity in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Region within and outside our community. We work collaboratively to foster LGBTQIA+ Pride. We are fully inclusive. We collaborate with others within our community and with the wider community.

Our vision is to empower the current and future generations to be their true selves and feel accepted, find their voice and be proud of who they are, regardless of their gender identity or sexuality. We aspire to a safer, more inclusive future for our community.

MISSION STATEMENT

To support and promote the development of the LGBTQIA+ community and overall diversity in the Newcastle and the wider Hunter Region. Facilitate and deliver the Newcastle Pride Festival and/or other regular social events for rainbow communities. Assist in overcoming the isolation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer [ LGBTQIA+ ] people by empowering the local LGBTQIA+ community to live authentically. Advocate for equality for all. Foster an inclusive and safe environment for all people in the Newcastle and the wider Hunter Region irrespective of sexual or gender identity. Form partnerships with other organisations that share similar values, aims, and objectives to Newcastle Pride. Be a leading and guiding force for positive change in the community.
