Our Parade entry this year is Hand-in-Hand United We Shine sending a message of inclusion and love by representing the groups of our Community. The Whitney Huston song Bring Me a Higher Love will be our song we will be dancing to in the parade.
Come join us as a parade participant and show the world your inner glittering and dazzling light! Be part of the electric vibe that can only be experienced at the 2022 Mardi Gras Parade! This will be the second Mardi Gras to be staged at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) after the acclaimed success of the 2021 Parade.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, (Newcastle Pride can ONLY offer 40 tickets). Current Financial Members of Newcastle Pride will be offered tickets first. Your Membership Number will be required during the booking process and will be checked by Newcastle Pride staff shortly after booking. Tickets can only be purchased either in pairs (x2), OR individually (this is to give everyone the best possible chance to secure a ticket). 9am Friday 21st January tickets will be released to the general public, so be quick
Newcastle Pride asks our community to purchase their ticket by Friday 11th February in order to allow for you to organise your costume to Newcastle Pride specifications.
Tickets will cost $100 per person this price includes: entry to the parade part costume.
